Waste bottle recycling and plastic recycling

Recently, the price of plastic raw materials has been rising, which has also driven up the price of plastic products. However, there is already technology in China that can recycle empty beverage bottles into recycled plastic raw materials. Not only are they easy to process, but the price of environmentally friendly plastic raw materials is also 20% to 30% cheaper than new raw materials sold on the market. Therefore, the price of recycled plastic raw materials is expected to rise in the future.

Clothes, water pipes, vases, reusable bags—can you tell that the table is filled with a dazzling array of household items made from discarded empty beverage cans?

The Environmental Protection Administration explained that recycled beverage cans can be sorted into three types of recycled plastic raw materials: PET, PP, and PE. It also emphasized that the quality of the recycled products is exactly the same as that of the virgin materials. Most importantly, the price of the three types of recycled plastic materials is NT$10 cheaper per kilogram than that of the virgin materials.

Production is gradually increasing every year. Environmentally friendly and inexpensive recycled plastic materials have recently become another new trend in domestic plastic raw materials, along with the price increase of virgin plastic raw materials.
