MP Challen also suggested that funds currently being used to stimulate economic recovery should be redirected to investments in green governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to research by the Independent Committee on Climate Change, setting a speed limit of 55 miles per hour would reduce CO2 emissions by approximately 1,400,000 tons per year.
